The Agave Apartment is the largest of 9 bungalows on Villa Tayrona's property. The bedroom features a king bed, a high-end bathroom, and a private balcony. In the living space is a pull-out sofa and seating area, dining table, and fully equipped, modern kitchen. On the second floor, this apartment opens up to a large terrace area. Villa Tayrona is just 7 blocks (walking distance) from Bucerias' gorgeous beach. Guests who walk into our space often describe it as an oasis within Bucerías. The 9 independent units at Villa Tayrona are tucked into a jungle-inspired garden, framing a saltwater pool, and feature private and shared relaxation spaces. A mix of high-end, artisanal, and natural elements makes Tayrona feel grounded in local culture and beauty, while offering the comforts of a boutique hotel. We share with our guests sustainable practices, opportunities for community engagement, and a uniquely Mexican experience. Please note that we usually rent out our villa as a whole (all 9 rooms together) for large groups. When we have last-minute availability between group rentals, we rent the rooms individually, which is why this Agave Apartment is currently bookable. This property is in a safe, colorful Mexican neighborhood, surrounded by taco stands, stores, ATMs, and laundry services, and restaurants. The beach is a quick walk away (only 7 blocks). You can have a local experience while having easy access to all of the tourist attractions. Just 30 minutes away from Sayulita and from the PVR airport, Bucerías is a practical, beautiful destination in its own right. You can walk to the beach, centro, or taco stands. You can also catch a bus from the main road, just two blocks away, or request an Uber or a taxi to get around effortlessly. -Filtered drinking water is provided throughout your stay. -In our garage is a rack of extra accessories for our guests to enjoy, which include board games, beach gear, yoga mats, kitchen equipment, etc. -The rooms do not have TVs, though do have WiFi. -Bucerías is a walkable town and we are in a central location. There is, however, a steep hill between our property and the beach. -Our neighborhood has dogs and roosters and they like to communicate to one another. If you're a light sleeper, this might not be the place for you. -Since many of our roofs are made of thatch, no smoking is permitted on our property. -The pool is not securely fenced in and is dangerous for small children without supervision. -We have thrown our whole hearts into creating this space.
